Screen printing uses one screen per ink color, so a two or three color logo prints sharper and costs less than a five color one. Embroidery works the same way with thread colors.
Your shirt or hat color is part of the palette. Pick one dark and one light option so your logo works on both. The preview warns you when an ink will be hard to see.
Each color shows its closest Pantone (PMS) match. Send those numbers with your art and we can match your brand across every order. See every ink in the Color Guide.
Grab our free art templates to size your logo, then design online or request a quote.
Yes. Make as many palettes as you like, copy the hex codes, share a link or save a PNG. No sign up needed.
Press the space bar (or tap Generate) for a new palette. Lock any color you want to keep, tap a hex code to fine tune it, and tap the shirt icon to choose which color is your garment. The tee and cap preview update as you go.
Two or three ink colors is the sweet spot for screen printing. Each color needs its own screen, so fewer colors print cleaner and cost less. Full color art can go DTF instead.
Yes. Every color in the generator shows its closest Pantone (PMS) number. Send your PMS numbers with your art and we match ink to them. Thread is matched to the closest stock thread color.
Screens glow and fabric doesn't, and ink sits differently on dark and light garments. That's why we always use an underbase on dark shirts and confirm colors on your proof.
No questions match that. Try another word, or get in touch below — we're happy to help.
Send us your logo and we'll suggest ink colors that print great.
